Walk & Talk Therapy: Movement for Mind & Body
Some Along Your Journey therapy providers offer Walk & Talk therapy sessions as an alternative to traditional in-office or virtual sessions. These sessions allow for movement, fresh air, and a different approach to therapeutic conversations while maintaining professional standards of care. We request full payment at the time of your appointment. Payment methods accepted include Cash, Credit Card, or Checks. If financial concerns arise, inquire about scholarship options. Limited slots are available. If needed, we can provide referrals to reduced fee clinics.
EMDR Intensives condense months of therapy into a focused, structured experience—ideal when you’re ready for deep work but can’t commit to weekly sessions.
After a brief consult and a thorough readiness assessment, we spend half- or full-days in EMDR to target stuck memories and current triggers, with plenty of breaks, stabilization, and a clear aftercare plan.
You’ll have measurable progress markers, an integration session, and follow-up support. If you’re a busy professional—or weekly therapy hasn’t moved the needle—an intensive may be the right next step.
First, we encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to discuss your specific plan and inquire about mental health coverage (see questions to consider below).
Our admin staff may reach out to clarify insurance. And during your free consultation, please discuss all relevant insurance matters with your therapy provider.
We provide receipts (superbills) for Out Of Network coverage; however, we currently do not bill out of network directly. Some insurance policies have carve-out plans for mental health benefits, which may involve different insurance companies. We’re here to assist with insurance inquiries and coverage details to the best of our ability.
Please note: We DO NOT accept Medicaid/First Health and cannot see clients that have Medicaid/First Health.
